A Somber Saturday (This Time It's Personal)
We lost our 14 year old baby boy Thanksgiving morning. Words cannot express the joy, comfort, and companionship he brought to my life.

My thoughts are with all of you on your loss of Jack. What a sweet darling I am sure he was. I am sure he knew how much he was adored and loved by you. Grace
Oh Stephanie - I am so sorry. When my cat Piggy was run over by a car, I felt like I had lost a member of my family, one of my kids. It's been almost 1 year and I have a new kitten - Fred.
Pets are so much a part of our lives, we often don't realize how much until they are gone.

Thank-you, ladies, for the kind words. To be honest, this has had a much bigger impact on me than I ever dreamed it would. We are on the lookout for a new addition, and I'm sure we'll be blessed with one soon.
Please accept my sympathy as well. There is nothing so faithful or so reassuring as the companionship of a beloved pet.
